WordPress site before and after a rescue, with a shield and a written rescue report

Urgent help

Is the site down or hacked right now?

Send the domain, your host and what you are seeing, with urgent in the subject. That is enough for us to start.

The situations we get called about

If you are seeing any of these, we can help.

Spam pages in Google

Pharma, casino or foreign-keyword pages indexed under your domain that you never created.

Redirects to other sites

Visitors, often only on mobile or from Google, sent to spam or scam domains.

Warnings or suspension

A Google deceptive site warning, a blacklist, or your host suspending the account.

White screen or critical error

A critical error message or a blank page where your site used to be, often after a plugin change.

Broken after an update

A plugin, theme, WordPress or PHP update broke your checkout, forms or admin.

Locked out

No admin access, unknown admin users, or a developer who stopped responding.

What we do

Emergency fixes, cleanup and hardening, handled by one developer from first diagnosis to prevention.

Malware removal

Backdoors, injected code and database payloads removed by rebuilding from clean core and plugin files, not by trusting a scanner.

Root-cause analysis

How the attacker got in, whether a vulnerable plugin, a stolen password or a hosting weakness, stated clearly in the report.

Hardening

Admin accounts reviewed, file permissions fixed, abandoned plugins replaced and a safe update process put in place.

Bug fixes

Critical errors, white screens, failed updates and broken checkouts or forms fixed after a full backup, and tested before it goes live.

Google clean-up

Spam URLs removed from the index and warnings cleared through Search Console once the site is clean.

Small customizations

Layout fixes, form changes and feature tweaks to your theme or plugins, done safely on staging first, so your live site stays untouched.

How a rescue runs

Four steps, the same every time.

1

Stabilise and diagnose

We take a full backup first and get a clean copy running, so the live site is never made worse. Then we write down what went wrong and what the fix requires.

2

Fixed-price repair

The scope comes from the diagnosis and is priced up front. Non-urgent issues are listed separately so you choose what to do.

3

Clean and deploy

We rebuild from clean files on staging, close the entry point, then deploy and check the live site.

4

Hand over

You get a list of every change, credentials in a password manager you control and clear recommendations.

What fixed properly means

Four shortcuts we will not take.

01

Run a scanner and call it clean

Scanners miss backdoors in uploads folders and database payloads, so we rebuild from known-clean files.

02

Hide errors to make a white screen go away

Suppressing errors leaves the cause in place and it returns.

03

Pin the site to old versions

Holding WordPress or PHP back is not a permanent fix and leaves known holes open.

04

Swap one mess for another

We do not rebuild your site in a different page builder. Sound themes and plugins stay.

Pricing

We diagnose first, then agree a fixed price for the repair. That way you never pay open-ended hours on a problem nobody has defined yet. Once the site is stable, you can add a Care Plan for tested updates, backups and monitoring, so the same problem does not come back.

What shapes the price

  • Type and severity of the problem
  • Size of the site and database
  • Hosting and access we start with
  • Care Plan after the fix (optional)

Site rescue FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most before a rescue starts. Cannot find yours? Send us a message and we will reply.

How quickly can you start on a hacked WordPress site?

As soon as we have your details. A down or hacked site goes to the front of the queue, and if we cannot start right away we tell you so.

How much does malware removal cost?

We price a written diagnosis first. The cleanup and hardening are then priced as a fixed amount based on what we found.

Will the site be hacked again?

Not through the same hole. The diagnosis finds the entry point and the repair closes it, and regular updates and access control reduce the chance of the next one.

Can you help if we do not have hosting or admin access?

Often yes, through your host, your domain registrar and your database credentials. Bring any old emails from the previous developer.

Will you keep our existing theme and plugins?

Yes, where they are sound. If one of them is the cause, we say so and give you options.

Can you take over a site from another agency?

Yes. We take it over directly, or work white-label for agencies.
